IT’S 50 years since the Fleet Air Arm Museum in
Yeovilton opened its doors to the public. Since then, the museum has expanded
to become the largest of its kind in Europe and the second largest worldwide.
As part of the museum’s 50th birthday events,
all of its previous employees are invited to re-unite at a celebratory
gathering planned for May 28. If they
worked at the museum and would like to attend, they are asked to contact Sue
Wilson 01935 842624 or send an e-mail to her at suew@fleetairarm.com.
Says Ms Wilson: “We’d love to see as many past
employees as possible, but I’d like to know they are coming before they arrive
or there might not be enough cake to go around!”
