Growing demand for homeland holidays

As Britain’s economy begins to recover – it says here! – people are rewarding themselves with staycation holidays that take in the very best of British. Last summer saw 41 million people opt for a homeland holiday, sampling the hills of Yorkshire, the coastal delights of Devon and the old towns and big cities in between. One staycation provider, West Country Holidays, reports that the trend has continued in 2014, with record-breaking sales and many more people booking their stay-at-home holiday for this summer.
