Head out to space for Easter

IMAGINE taking control of the world’s most powerful telescope.  Imagine taking a journey to planets, moons, stars and comets … all at the control of a button.

The National Space Centre in Leicester will be launching an interactive experience at Easter. Professor Clegg's Fantastical Observatorium will allow visitors to go on a virtual mission to discover planets, stars, nebula and even comets as they speed past our tiny planet.

Using real mission data from telescopes here on Earth, as well as those in deep space, the images of craters on planets can be explored, distant stars discovered and constellations revealed.
