What’s on … in Cornwall?

Mariners sing at the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival – Lively music is guaranteed at the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival (June 13-15). 

There will be 44 sea shanty groups performing 261 hours of singing at more than 20 venues. As well as celebrating Cornish maritime history, the event raises thousands of pounds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).



Polperro Festival –The 9-day Polperro Festival (June 14-22) takes place over the summer solstice. It includes a carnival parade, comedy night, treasure hunts, and a solstice bonfire along with street theatre, live music and dancing. The local artist’s colony is also organizing an art day.
