More Brits head west to Texas

TEXAS has seen a rise in the number of UK tourists heading to the state. UK visitor numbers grew by 22 percent in 2013 to 192,000, with four in 10 travelling for leisure purposes.


While on a recent sales mission in London, Anita Perry, the First Lady of Texas said:  “The new British Airways route from Heathrow to Austin – and Formula 1 coming to the state – has really driven the increase.”
