This follows their success last year when the Devon-based agency won first place against strong national competition; it also achieved second place at both the 2011 and 2012 BTA Awards.
BTA’s chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: ‘Helpful Holidays is to be congratulated on reaching the voting stage of the prestigious British Travel Awards, the largest consumer-voted awards programme in the UK. The BTAs winning accolade is the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business of travel for the UK consumer.’
The BTA nomination comes after Helpful Holidays recent success in being awarded joint first place in the Which? Travel members’ survey of UK self-catering accommodation achieving Recommended Provider status for three years in succession with a customer score of 95 percent.
The results will be announced in November.
